Decimals in text field

I have a text field as Number where I enter a percentage number but it does not allow me to enter decimals. I've already change the properties of the field and in the table to Format=Standard and Decimals=2.

Is there anything else that I have to change?

Use a numeric data type with field size either single, double or decimal.
