I have a field on a form that I cannot get to display 1 or 2 decimal places. I have changed the table format to show general number format with decimals of 2. I edited the form and duplicated these settings. When I enter a number it defaults to an integer with no decimals.

If you shown the properties of the Text box (or what you are using) in there you will find an option to display decimal places.

Thanks for the reply, I looked again for the setting to show decimal places but could not find it.
I am viewing the form, then editing it and selecting the field (numeric) that I want to display decimals for and confirmed that General Number is the format and 1 is the number of decimals to display.

in the format option under properties for this number field, try typing the following ##.##

Thanks, I figured out the problem. I had the field size set as Long Integer in the table setup. I changed it to type of "Double", went back to the form and reformatted and got the decimals to display.
