Can anyone tell me what the Go Debugger Long command does?

Thanks,

vlg711

An Avaya FAST Engineer currently has a network sniffer hooked up to my switch and he gave me a Mst_debug button on my phone for whenever my problem happens, I press it so it can stop the "trace", maybe the command go debugger long either re-starts the trace or downloads it for analysis? That would be my guess.

What is the reason you'd like this to know? Plan your work............Work your plan

INADS logged into my switch @ 1:30AM and ran the command then saved translations. I can't find anything in the docs on the command.

Inads or the TSO went into debugger to remove corruption from your system. (Most Likely)

Usually a station or flag for a station that is corrupt.

Depending on the release of software there might have been a proactive patch put into your system as well.

Contact your Business parnter to follow up on which it was.

Netcon1

Netcon1 is right.

It's a command to go into unix and fix corruptions in the database.

Sometimes these corruptions can be fixed by a reset system 4 but this is just not done on a live system.

Avaya has a corruption team and if your system dials out to expert system (depending on your contract) they've probably fixed it before you were aware of the problem.
