All,

I added a debug icmp trace command to my pix and notice the following messages.

444: ICMP type 24 (code 124) 99.99.99.148 > 88.88.88.36445: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1
446: ICMP type 24 (code 124) 99.99.99.149 > 88.88.88.36447: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1
448: ICMP type 24 (code 124) 99.99.99.148 > 88.88.88.36449: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1
450: ICMP type 24 (code 124) 99.99.99.149 > 88.88.88.36451: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1
452: ICMP type 24 (code 124) 99.99.99.148 > 88.88.88.36453: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1
454: ICMP type 80 (code 255) 10.1.1.14 > 10.1.1.1

The internal address is one fo my host, but I dont understand if the icmp message originated from inside or outside, also what do the types mean? Or if some can point me out to a guide on how to read this I would appriciated.

Thanks,

Rocket
