I have put together some charts for one of our staff members (he can't use the software like all the other end users). The files themselves are saved out on the server so that he can get to them from his own workstation and refresh and print as he needs to do so. The charts look great on my workstation, but when he opens them they are very off. The data is still accurate, but the formatting of the charts on the page makes them useless.
The charts do not align to the margins as i had them set originally, so each chart ends up splitting multiple pages. The page orientation is ALWAYS opposite of how i have it set (i have portrait, his appears landscape, and vice versa). Many times the charts seem to have remnants of the other charts "overlapped" but behind them, so that it appears there is another complete chart behind them but not directly, but... the other two charts are also else where completely visible, in actuality there is no other object behind my chart!
There are tons of other minuscule details to share, but I’m hoping these "screwy" examples are enough to trigger someone to recognize what I’m missing. I'm sure it's a setting or something I’m not preparing for, but for the life of me I can't find it. And as I said before, it is rendering these reports useless.
I have also tried putting each chart on individual report tabs, but the portrait/landscape and margins thing is still an issue.
After my repeated assurance that this is something he should be able to do on his own, and then it appearing to him that I can't seem to do it myself... ... well you get the rest of the story! Please have mercy on me, I'll take any suggestions at this point! (in regards to fixing these reports that is!)
TIA!!
