de-archive

Is there any way to "de-archive" messages? Boss set up his autoarchive to archive emails that he wishes were still in his regular file. He doesn't want to pull everything back manually, of course, since he's one of those that have several dozen folders under inbox.

Is there a quick way to do this? I told him I didn't think so, but.....

The only way is to do it manually, but it won't be too bad. Open the archive, use the column headings to sort by date or sender or however he wants to retrieve. Then make sure he knows how to use windows mult-selection capabilities using the shift & ctrl keys. A lot of bosses don't seem to know how to select multiple items.
