dcs and paging 1

Does anybody have any ideas how to set up paging across a dcs using PRI? Thanks.

If you have vectoring in the switch that you want to page you can set up a VDN that points to a vector with a 'route-to number' step that contains the DAC of the paging. From the remote location they would dial the VDN. If you have Deluxe Paging/Call Park you may have problems. Those features require additional digits.

No, the customer does not have vectoring. There must be a correct way to do this other than a workaround. Anybody else have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

You can alway's set up "remote access" extension at other end...then they can dial remote extension and page code...use non-did number so nobody outside can accidentaly hit it...worked for us
