All,

I've been interfacing with mySQL with DBI/DBD...and this has proven VERY simple! However, another option I have is to interface with SQL Server Express 2005. Is it just me, or is it not as simple or straight forward to interface with SQL Server???? I'm stuck on Step 1....What DBD do I use???? I've read many different things on this point...some say ODBC, some say Sybase, some say FreeTDS, etc...

I am currently testing on Windows, but may also be running this on UNIX and/or Linux....if that makes any difference on which DBD I should use. (Most likely I'll be landing on UNIX as the final target)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
