Hi, Please help with the following:

I am trying to use the db combo control to populate the combo list but when I try to set the row source it is giving me the following error:

No compatible data source was found for this control. Pleas add an intrinsic control or a remote data control to the form

I am using data environment as my datasource. I have also try to use an ado control using microsoft jet 4 as the provider connecting to a microsoft access database but it is still giving me the same error.

I need to use the db combo because I want it to reference another table for the fill list.

thanks in advance.

Kay

I had the same problem. I was using ADO data controls as well to populate combo/list boxes. I was using "Microsoft Data bound List controls 6.0". I changed this to "Microsoft DataList Controls 6.0 (SP3)(OLEDB)" and used these for combo boxes and list boxes and they worked fine with ADO controls. Hope this helps
