Hi all

had to give the set time manually and cancelled the dayligt savingds

can any1 help me with this

Keep the Daylight savings time. Because the time is stored locally on the telephone set, the user must hit Menu>TmDay>Exit...to show the current time.

I have this problem also. I do not use the feature. If I set it up the time does not change when supposed to. Also when I set it up it changes the time at the moment of the translation change. I also have "System Updates Time On Station Displays?=y." I was told that this setting will adjust the sets without the users hitting time of day/date.

Just a thought

1a2 to ip I seen it all

There are 2 parts to set this up. Daylight savings rules is 1 part but you also need to "change location" to tell it to use the rule which you setup.

When you change the time on a Definity system it doesn't usually update the stations straight away. The stations update during the background maintenance tests that automatically run. You can force the displays to update by using the command "test board 01a10" or you can do "test station 2000".

Daylight savings process, what nlopes1211 said is perfect .
if dosent work ,just you need to do is to go with test board commond ...
