Hi Guys,

Clocks on my XP and 2003 machines show wrong time an hour ahead. I distributed KB931836 which by Microsoft suppose to fix problem but it does not help. What really helps is uncheck "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes". But I can not find how to distribute this setup over whole company.
Anybody else got the got the same problem?
How to fix it?
Please help!

Thanks.
Alex.

I found on all our OEM XP machines (5 of them) that MS fix worked correctly, but on the only Win98 upgraded computer it did not. It was one hour slow. What did fix it was to change it to a different time zone, then apply the change, then change it back to the correct time zone.

Are the workstations obtaining their time from a Server? What if you use the Server and just check the time manually via the "Internet Time" tab in the "Date and Time" Properties? Will that fix the problem?

I've come this morning ( Monday ) and see all clocks show the right time. It fixed itself.
Thanks everybody who participated.

This is hard telling whether it got fixed or not, since the regular start of daylight saving time (before the change) was last weekend. Could it have switched then per it's normal original function?

I get a feeling when it switches back to regular time it's going to be fun. Heh.
