Hello,
I am newbie to Business Objects. This question is about the BO reports.

The date for ex. 6/10/2004 has a timestamp of 00.00.00 AM. if the user enters start date of 6/1/2004 and end date of 6/10/2004 at the prompt while running the report, this will actully pull out the reports from 6/1 00.00.00 to 6/10 00.00.00. This is actually a report 6/1 - 6/9. The users can enter the end date as 6/11 to get the report until 6/10 but they are not trained that way.

So, if the user enters an end date of 6/10, how do i get the report for 6/1 00.00.00 AM to 6/10 23.59.59 PM?

Thanks

If you want to be time insensitive, you just have to trunc your date fields in the object definitions.

I'm suggesting you do this in the universe. Then you can trunc it before it gets to the report. Otherwise, you have to convert it to character and back to date.
