I have a field which has date and time.
How do I create my report so that users can say for example:
give me all records From May 1 to 5 but only those from 11:00:00 to 14:00:00?

By far the simplest way would be to have two separate fields in the universe, one for date and one for time.

This would allow the server to do most of the work, and not the workstation.

An alternative, if the Universe cannot be changed, would be to build two separate User Objects for the date and time.

Yes, seperate objects for time and date (as I pointed out in earlier post)
User objects are not sharable, you will run into problems that way

Business Objects in nortiously bad at time math. So doing this at the universe level is really your best bet.
