Date range as text string - version 10

I need to update someone else's report in Crystal 10, I have only been using 8.5.
There is one parameter defined as "Date range" with no description, but it is a TEXT STRING and there is no default
I look in the Report / Selection Formulas and it is blank!

Where could the use of the "Date Range" be defined?

What is the data source/connectivity?

Does the report correctly prompt and filter data based on this parameter?

Did you check the Database->Show SQL Query and the Set Datasource Location?

It may be that they used the Add Command, check the Database->Database Expert and see if there's something listed in the Select Tables called Comman.

If so, right click it and select Edit Command, the parameter may be in there.
