Date problem

Dear friends

I am checking my script code in netscape navigator 6.2

i wrote following code in my script

var now = new Date();
var year = 1900 + now.getYear();
(if you give now.getYear() it's returning current year - 1900 in netscape navigator)

if i am changing year from 2002 to 2036 it's working fine.
but if i am changing 2038 it's giving 1902
how come it will give 1902?

how about you simply use now.getFullYear() instead? Gary
