Hi!

Using Access97, i have a query that creates a table with many fields that are used afterword in a mailmerge with Word.
One of the field is a date that i format the following way:jjjj" le "j\ mmm", "aaaa
and the date comes out in the table like this:Mercredi le 14 aout, 2001 .

I would like to create the same kind of query for my english speaking customers. So i would like the date to come out like: Wednesday august 14, 2001

Would anyone know how i could do it.

Thanks

long date will usually take care of that but you could try

format(date(),"dddd mmmm dd, yyyy")
debug window
?format(date(),"dddd mmmm dd, yyyy")
Monday April 15, 2002

also not sure how this translates Good Luck

Hi Braindead2

Unfortunately it doesn't work... :eek:(

It keeps returning me the french format:
(lundi avril 15, 2002)

Thanks anyway
