When I design my reports in Crystal Designer on my computer, I have the date format: yyyy-mm-dd and it works fine on my computer. However, when I view these reports on the web, the date shows as: m/d/yyyy.

We know that CR takes the system default short date and we have checked to make sure that the default short date on the server is in the same format as it is in my reports. We have also checked the field formats for date and date/time in Crystal Reports on the server to ensure that they are also in the proper format. Still, the date keeps showing in the wrong format.

Any ideas of what else we can check?

is this problem still happening because normall when you change anything on your report(in crystal) it takes a few minutes before the cache is cleared and the new changes reflected(sometimes a good 30 min)on the web.

I had another web/time problem....the reports I wrote were time sensitive...but always had the time of the server they were generated on of course....it took a while for users on the other side of the country to get used to the time difference
