Hi, what's the best way to allow a user to enter the date format with periods in between day month and year?

When the users use the number pad to enter the date they want to do it with period instead of slashes etc but when they do this the date defaults to 30 December 1899

the format is currently set to long date.

thanks in advance

Why not having the slashes in the input mask ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

that would be the easiest option for me but that would still require the user to use the slashes and they want to use the period (if at all possible)

Then you need code to truncate the input and substitute the periods for slashes. Use the dd.mm.yyy to display the date or even dd-mm-yy.
