Date Expressions in Query

Sorry to post this probably easy answer, but I've been going braindead trying to figure out why I cant get a date value when I add this expression to my query.

[DATE OF SUPERVISION]>Now()

I was thinking this query would only show all the dates in this field greater than todays date. Instead of showing that, it would give me number values...

Seems you're in the query grid:
[tt]Field: [/tt]DATE OF SUPERVISION
...
[tt]Criteria: [/tt]>Now()
