This seems like a simple question, but I can't find an answer anywhere to this point. Our app uses a vb front end with a SQL Seerver 2000 db.

The app date and time stamps all data entry and data changes made by all users. Right now it uses the workstation's date and time. I would like it to use the SERVER'S date and time. This will insure that, even if the server is not entirely accurate, at least all the data will be accurate relative to all the other data, instead of each workstation being out of sync with each other.

Has anyone (or everyone) already done this?

Thanks for your input.

Yes, you can use the GetDate() function of SQL Server to do what you want.

Good Luck
