Date and arp pbs

On cisco 2950,

Date : I set the date on the routeur but I don't have the date in the logging file :

23w6d: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by console
How can I do :
I tried service timestamps log : no result.

Arp :
When I do a sh arp I have
rotocol Address Age (min) Hardware Addr Type Interface
Internet 147.98.8.248 - 0009.b7a3.8c00 ARPA Vlan1

I would like to have the physical location of this IP or Mac adress (Fastethernet 0/1) and the sh cam dyn isn't avalaible.

How can I do,

I thought that service timestamps log only affected logging messages and debug. Am I wrong?

I would reccomend a program that maps your network, physical device to card to segment to switch to router.

Short of that, I would make a massive table by hand with this info.
