Datawindow Style Help Needed

I'm trying to display one column of data down a page and then when reaches bottom of page or pre-defined depth, starts at the top of the datawindow again - but one column over.
I thought this was Newspaper style or N-Up -- but appears N-Up goes left to right then down. I need down page, then restart at top again.
Any ideas?
I'm using PB 6.5 but have access to PB7 and PB8.

My guess would be to build an external dw with fields representing the layout you want. You then retrieve the data into a datastore and, using setitems, put things where you want them.
