Is there a foulproof way to install datastage? The reason I ask this is because we have installed Datastage on 5 different Sun/solaris machines allready and everytime we have problems. We always need to contact techsupport who help us with one small problem just to find out we created a new problem this way. We try to install it on a mounted disc in another directory then the standard-dir and with the Sybase plugin. The information supplied is of no help, we always get undocumented errors. Is there anyone who has made a good installation guide?
