Datarepeaters - position in data

This might be a daft question but can't see how to do it.

Using datarepeater in a windows application in virtualmode ie not bound to a source, filling it in myself in the code.

When i display a lot of data scroll bar is displayed and left on the last page of data.

Simple question - how do i tell the datarepeater programmatically to display the first page ie position at the first record?

Cant find a relevant method on the datarepeater

OK - panic over

I regained my powers of thought - datarepeater1.CurrentItemIndex = 0 does the trick

at first glance seems to be the work-around for the formatting problems i have been having ie virtualmode=true on the repeater and setting all the items manually - setting enabled=false on the itemvalueneeded event for the control doesnt show until scrolled up and down again.
