I am using Visual C++ 6.0 Pro and I am using databases to work on an address book program. I am basing the program off of Outlook/Outlook Express but I do not know how Microsoft keeps all their contacts together. I can't seem to find a seperate database file or anything and it seems weird that there is no file connecting it. Is it something that is loaded somewhere else or am I just not understanding correctly.

As far as I know the file format for Outlook is undocumented. To work with the Outlook data in your own application you have to use the Outlook Automation Interface and the Outlook Object Model. That is documented at
