Database isn't a database file error

This is for an Access 2000 database. It is on a network with about 5 users. They enter any where from 2 to 20 orders a day. This database is also a replica, with 2 people from laptops syncronizing. Also they have a remote office that uses netmeeting to use this program. The data is stored on the network and the forms, etc. on each pc.
They have from 5000 to over 8000 records in 2 seperate tables. Lately, they have been getting the error that the database needs to be repaired or isn't a database file.

Does anyone have any ideas? This is very frustrating because everytime this happens I have to rebuild the database, because it looses the fact that it is a replica.
If it were not for the replica it could be repaired, that works fine.

Also the database is compacted and repaired almost everyday.

Thanks for any help!

Cindy

Hi Cindy,
I am not going to be able to help you, but please be aware that we read your post. I have been following posts relating to "replicas" for several months, and it appears that just about everyone (in my opinion) is having trouble with this "feature". If you don't already have support with Microsoft, it might be worth paying for one of those $125 (or whatever the cost is) tech support calls that cover a specific topic. HTH, [pc2]
