This may not be the right thread to ask this, and I apologize....

I am currently work for a company that has about 110 sites. We have a lot of Avaya and Nortel systems. Tons of circuits, and 800 numbers. Does anyone out there use a database to keep track of all that? We also have a team of 10 or more telecom staff that would need to use this to get the most current passwords, circuit info, etc.

We now use an Access database, that is falling apart, and not very stable.

Are there any suggestions out there?

Moderators, feel free to move this if I am asking in the wrong area.

Hi Phoneguy

If you already use an access database to manage this i dont see why you would want to change. You may want to discuss your access stability issue's and constraints in the Microsoft: Access Queries and JET SQL form and if required move over to an enterpise class database.

My system is fairly small, so I use Excel to keep track of my circuits, POTS lines, toll-free numbers, etc. I would look at a SQL database; something simple that you can maintain and update yourself. Do you have access to your company's programming staff - perhaps they can recommend/build something for you.
