I do have a problem, I have a ARCserve v.7 during last months saving my Database Engin stops and it's hanging,Database Pruning is active, but the status for Database Engine is stop. How do I can active again the Database Engine?
whay you are saying indicate you have a database corruption you need either to run database utilites which can be found in support.cai.com under Technical document index
or for quick reslution inisilize the database astpsdat which contains (machines,volumes,folders & files) which has been backed up.
To inisilize the database go to server Admin
Note: From my experiance inisilizing the database is the quickest solution to your problem since running database utilites will consume alot of time and it may effect your backup schedules.
