I restored database "ABC" from sql server 2000 to sql server 2005. But database diagram is not there on sql server 2005 for database "ABC". In other words, database diagram does not get moved from sql server 2000 to 2005 as rest of the objects like tables, users etc.

Is there somse i can restore it too instead of re-creating it on sql server 2005 as it going to take a lot of time ?

Thanks

Database diagrams changes quite a bit between the versions. I beleive that he SQL 2000 diagrams are not compatible with SQL 2005. Even the tables are different.

Unfornitualy I do beleive that your best bet will be to recreate the diagrams.

You could check google to see if anyone has released any software to convert the diagrams from the old SQL 2000 tables into the new SQL 2005 tables.
