Database coruption

I have a question about fixing databases. I am very new to SQL so I am hoping one of you with some experience can tell me of any tools built into SQL that will fix databases. I have found the maintence wizard but is there any other tools for keeping your databases coruption free.

The best tool is DBCC CHECKDB. It checks the allocation and structural integrity of all the objects in the specified database. It corrects the widest possible errors. See the following web pages for more info on DBCC CHECKDB and other repair options.
