I need help writing vb code for access database connectivity

Why don't you go ahead and post the code you have so far, so we know if you are using one of the ADO, DAO, or RDO objects to access your MSAccess database, or are you using one of the ADO, DAO, (VB5 or RDO) data access controls?

One of the neat things about the data form wizard is that it will build a connection string for you so you can use it with/for your ADO, DAO, (VB5 or RDO) objects.

I believe that if you check the FAQ section there is a article that explains how to properly ask a question. I point this out to you because of the question that I have already from your question that undoubtly others will have from reading you question.

Also let us all hope that you read the RED note below the Preview Post button and the Submit Post Button.

As a matter of fact I believe that there are several articles in the FAQ section that explain data access, and there is a search feature to this site that I bet if you choose to use by searching on the words "access" or "database" or "ADO" or "DAO" or "RDO" or "ODBC" you will find numerous hits that may answer your question.

I hope this help you in your quest for knowledge, Good Luck!

The FAQ that vb5prgrmr mentions is referred below Let me know if this helps
