We have been having a problem in VFP6 where we get a data type miss-match when a table is accessed (BROWSE, SELECT, ECT.). You can duplicate the error in the Form anywhere a Table is accessed. Does anyone know of a VFP anomaly that could cause this?

Thanks

Do you have indexes that depend on a memvar or user-defined function or any other expression besides just the field? Robert Bradley

I can think of 3 cases where that error will occur.
1. Do you have a field name in the DBF that is a VFP reseverd word?
2. Do you have a MemVar the same name as a DBF filed name but a different character type?
3. Do you have 2 tables open with the same filed names but the 2 DBF fields have different character types? David W. Grewe
