hi all

how can i convert .dmp extension database from oracle to MSQL 2005 in order to load for me to load it into accpac

Forget the DMP file, use the Accpac Database Dump/Database Load utilities.

i have tried loading the data using the dataload utility but when i select the directory where my .dmp database is it's blank

Of course not! Accpac doesn't know what "DMP" files are.

so how do i convert this database from .dmp to .dct

the only format i have for the database is DMP

For the last time, DMP doesn't mean anything to Accpac.

Start
Programs
Sage Accpac
Tools
Database Dump

And you'll have a DCT file and all the REC files.
