I am looking for a VPN soultion that will support Data Link Switching. I have a site in the USA and a site in the UK that I wish to connect via a VPN soluition. The site in the USA has a IBM Mainframe and I need to send SNA traffic over the VPN to the UK site. Their are 40 SNA devices on the UK site (RJE and printers). Converting these devices to IP is not an option since they are IMS and CICS defined devices and I do not have the necessary IBM software. I am spoofing the DLS on both sides and encapsuling the DLS into IP packets. I'm concerned with the timing issues. Has any one done this?
