Data Environment Missing

Hello,

I'm trying to design a report in VB 6 but I can't find the Data Environment. It doesn't appear in Project or in Project->Components->Designers.

Can anyone help me please?

does the following file exist on your computer in this directory?

C:\Program Files\Common Files\designer\MSDE.dll

No, I can't find that file in my computer.

That is the file that is used for the data environment designer. It evidently did not get installed on your computer when you installed VB6. You will more than likely want to reinstall VB6 and make sure that you install the designers along with it.
