I have a subform that collects a variety of data. For example, Bidder, Bid, and Date.
We had coders go in and code the Bidder and Bid on a first pass.
When then had a second pass entering the Dates.
Now - only one person is performing the second pass. She is telling me that Dates are disappearing. She says that she entered dates for a big block of data and that the dates are gone.
My initial thought is that the sub-form is hoooking up to the wrong record in the table, but the date data is nowhere in the table.
Also - the Bidder and Bid data is just fine, so the record itself is still proper, it's just that data is supposedly gone.
I have compacted and repaired, and the DB went from 18mb to 4mb. Question: can this sort of "disappearing" be caused by database corruption? I have never seen it before.
Other thoughts?
