I'm trying to create a new Data Access page however if I create a new data access page the "Choose the table or query from where the objects data comes from is blank" and If I click ok I get the following error... "Failed to initialise Datalinks. Cannot change connection". If I open the database I want to create the page from and start a Data Access Page Wizard I get "The Wizard is unable to create your page" and again I cannot edit my Field Links.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Try this solution. Open a new BLANK database. Go to "File" - "Get External Data" - "Import". Import the ENTIRE contents of your present database (Tables, forms, queries, reports, etc.). Save the new Db. Close it. Re-open it. Now, try to make the Data Access Page. This procedure seems to help where the usual Compact/Repair option does not. Access streightens some things out as it imports them into the new database. Occasionally, you get the same old result with the new Db. If THAT happens, try it again and this time, import only one table at a time and close and reopen the Db between importing tables. You can still import all forms, reports, queries, etc. at one time - only the tables need to follow this procedure. Good Luck! "Databases That Work The Way You Do!"
