Running Quark Express 5 on windows 2k terminal server. Users are on a thin client accessing the server via Citrix.
All of a sudden ONLY one user can access Quark. After the first user logs on and run quark, no one else can run it. They are greeted with the following error message.

"The application preferences file is damaged. Please remove it and relaunch. Quarkexpress [293]"

Please help!!!

You could try going to the QuarkXPress folder and renaming the file 'XPress Preference' to something like 'Preferences.bak'. This will force Quark to regenerate a clean preferences file which might solve your problem. Another thing to be careful of is to make sure you have a licence for each user, as it is something Quark watches out for in a network environment.

I forgot to add that I deleted the preferences file and it didnt work. I wonder if this will run udner Citrix/Terminal Server.

We bought a 10 user license, so I dont know why we would be having problems now
