Our extensions are setup with 4 digits. When I start to dial a four digit number (8200) I get a fast busy and "release and try again" on the LCD message after dialing the first 2 digits (82). I think I may need to add the 8200 range (8200-8299) into the dial/numbering plan but don't know how to do that...help please!?!?

Is there a phone currently build in the PBX with that extension?

no, not yet...I have about 10 CDN's that I need to build but when I get them built, I don't think they will work cause they are not in the dialing plan?

They are not in dial plan because you havnt built them yet.
Program them first and you will get ring back.

Under, when in doubt on what is available, and this is referring to internal available numbers, go to ld 20

This will give you all the available ranges available that are not yet programmed in the switch. Look at your 8xxx and you will find your range. Once you have your range, start the programming whether cdn's, phones, analogs or acd's

post are right, as a test add 8200 to your station then call it.. ludn is the command another way is to try to dial 8200, you get a busy after 82, it will be because it's vacant... (strange but you can put 82 on your set as an scr) i've done that to block anyone from using a number block that i need to save.. of course i don't make it ring
