daemon.log/utilities ??????

I have examined the daemon.log in hope to collect<br>and calculate how much and how long it takes to backup<br>our sun solaris systems.<br><br>I found that the daemon.log is interwieved with save's<br>within savegroups does anyone a know a good aproach way or<br>tools that can achieve what i'm am trying to do?<br><br>Please help.<br><br>Thank you<br>Mike
 
I am running the Solaris version of Legato on our sun systems and have set it up so that it will email me when the savegroup has finished.<br>On nwadmin on Solaris select Customise, then notifications and <br>select savegroup notification.
