DAD in version 8 stopped loading to system tray

Hi

A staff members version 8 of DAD has ceased loading the short cuts to the system tray, I don't know of any messages at all - just that when I tried removing the shortcuts from the DAD directory, rebooting and putting new ones in there, they didn't load. Any ideas?

If the user is running W95/98 try typing msconfig at the run dialog box. Look at the startup tab and see if it(DAD) has a check mark or not. If not, then check it. You'll need to go back to the general tab and check selective startup.

Right click on start and left click on open. You will see a program icon. Double click to open. Go to the WordPerfect Office Suite icon and double click to open. Eventually, you will get to the DAD icon. Right click on it and left click on copy. Go back to the startup folder. Double click to open. Right click to paste the DAD icon. Reboot and you should have DAD up and running in your sys tray. Hope this helps. I personally don't think having DAD running at startup is a good idea because it is a drain on system resources.
