Cyrstal Reports Server 2008 V1 can not sign in

Someone has already installed this Crystal Reports Server 2008 V1, since then I realized there's no Crystal Report 2008/client installed, there's no way we can create reports ??? So I tried to install the client in the same machine, guess what!, I could not sign in to the server any more.
Can anyone help ? I'm a new comer and new user to this Business Objects.
