Sorry about this lame question, but I can't seem to figure out how to simply cut the second audio track (background music not connected to the video clip or its soundtrack) in the timeline. For video and associated audio I use the razor tool, but it doesn't work on the audio2 track. With other NLEs I've used you just click on the cutting tool. I searched the Premiere Pro help, but can't find it.

I just want to cut the last 10 seconds off of the audio 2 track. Thanks.

You can't razor it, huh? Weird.

Well, until you figure out what Ashcrofted your ability to razor that track, you can always just use the volume rubberband and drop the volume to zero. Practically the same thing.

Thanks Edward...I finally realized I needed to have keyframes showing on the audio timeline to use the trimming device. All is well now.

Happy to sorta-help. [smile]

Cheers,
