cut/plot feature in illustrator

Hi, i have a plotter and I have roland cutchoice. In the instructions it says that illustrator should have a cut/plot feature in the file menu. But i dont see it, is it disabled in CS? or do i need a plugin to use that feature. Please someone help. Thank you
