Does anyone have a file or link where I can print off replacement strips for the 1416 desktop phones?
Thanks much.

Look in the menu of the programming Manager where it says print button labels. It uses a program called "Desi". Or you can dowwnload it free at their website where you can also purchase laser printer cabable desi's.

I use Word tables. I create a 2x8 table and replicate it as many times as needed. The dimensions for the cells is .5 high x .7 long.

Do your self a favor and avoid the arts and craft fun on the job site and get the perforated desi sheets from desi. I often print them from an excel sheet and cut them out on the job site. Seems pretty silly to me. Not sure why i haven't just done it myself. Bad habits are hard to brake...

I use the printer ready desis from desi.com all the time but almost always for systems that reuire cutouts for LEDs etc like the Partner 18d or Avaya 1412/24. The 1416 doesn't have LED cutouts. You can use heavy paper, like 20lb bond, and a light grey color and nobody will know the difference from Desi. They can look very nice when done that way. I like to use color printers for a artsy fartsy touch. Clients really love it.

I really love phones without paper labels.
Saves the customer and the engineers a lot of work!!!
I really do not understand that paper labels still are used.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Wish they could make the 1416/1616 paperles. We have too many problems with the 9508's and try to avoid selling them.

I agree totally, we never...ever had issues with 5410's (other than the batch that wouldn't upgrade), now we have to sell crappy 1408's if you want a happy customer, you simply wouldn't risk too many 9508's on them, even with the latest fixes I still see the occasional glitch that could annoy people :-)

Thanks so much for the info. Greatly appreciated.

Paper labels for you.
