Cut and Paste from Excel to PowerPoint formatting issue

When I cut and paste linked cells or charts from Excel into PowerPoint, it autofits all the other text boxes, charts etc. Is there a way to be able to paste (paste special, links) into a Powerpont presentation without impacting any of the other objects on the slide?

Nevermind on this question.

I just figured it out. If anyone is interested, you can disable the automatic formatting by doing the following:

1.  Click on Tools-->AutoCorrect Options
2.  Select the "Autoformat as you Type" Tab
3.  Uncheck the last box under the Apply as you work section (Automatic layout for inserted objects)
