Hi,

I am desigining a student portal where each student can customize the look and feel for his user login. What would be the best way to achieve this?

can anyone pl give some pointers?

write a cookie which is valid for a long period of time to save the setting of customized look and feel. When user reaches the default url of the your web site,before writing anything, check the cookie and display the look and feel according to the cookie.
Will you use Jsp?

Hi,

thnx for the response. Yes, will be using JSP but am not sure about the cookies. Not many people r comfotable loading cookies into their browser.

any alternatives ?
