I built a new ISDN trunk group with 8 DS1 Boards about a month ago.
It has facility associated signaling so there is one D signal port per board.
The trunk group is internal only with the CSUs connected to a Mediant Gateway 1000B for IVR Connections.
Everything has been going fine up until about 2 weeks ago when we started getting an increase in calls.
About once or twice a week, during high que times, 2 boards will error out and it is not always the same boards either.
I replaced the CSU units on two of the boards but that did not seem to solve the issue.
Calls go into the Trunk Group and then to the IVR, then get routed back to the trunk group to be sent to agents on various vdns.
We are reusing some old vectors mixed in with the some new ones, and am wondering if poorly designed vectors can conflict with each other and cause this problem.
Calling inbound numbers to the trunk group results in dead air.
Once we reset the board, everything is fine again for awhile.
List measurement ds1 for each board returns all 0s
The errors we have gotten during this time is CSU and Signal Group Down
A trunk trace at the time gave us this error
Denial Event 1191 Network Failure
Anyone have any ideas on where to look.
