Customer s/w is MICS 1.1 XC

My customer has a phone that does not ring on a busy state.
Example:
Calls are transferred to this phone from an Operator. Calls are received on this phone on an Intercom key. (no direct line appearance) When a second call is transferred, the other intercom key does not ring, it only flashes!

This does NOT happen all the time.

The phone has been changed out, so it is not a phone issue.
The DND on busy is set to NO.

Why is this phone not ringing when calls are transferred to it? Dave McCall

Check the Fwb Busy status in capabilities. It must be set to "none".... make sure that the user is not invoking DND and forgetting to turn it off or telling anyone of its use....
And strangely enough if the wire connections are OK they may not be good enough. Re terminate where possible and change the jack at the user's end. Quality of connection is important.

Good Luck

also check that the DND on busy under
Terminals&sets>>>capabilities
is set to no
