Is there a way to label the summarized fields in a crosstab report? I have the following report
2001-11 2001-12 Total
Purchases ($) 33 33 66
Company ($) 3 3 6
* 1.50 1.50 .75
Account ($) 30 30 60
* 15.00 15.00 15.00

*I want this to say Average instead of no label

If I try just putting a Text Box with Average typed in it, it only prints it on the first one.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Do you mean that you want to have it print:

CompanyX Average..
CompanyY Average..

If so, write a formula that appends the text 'Average' to the company name, and then use that as your row field instead of company.

{Company} + " Average"

If you want it on the line below:
CompanyX
Average..

CompanyY
Average..

Write the formula that appends both a carriage return, and the text:

{Company} + CHR(13) + "Average" Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting
